Adolescent Girls: Fostering Courage, Strength and Compassion - Participants gain an understanding of how adolescent girls make moral choices and how those choices effect their relationships. Susan explains the transition from girl to women and the implications for moral development, the power behind the media and it's role in molding young women.

Booking Flyer: Adolescent Girls Flyer- Anger Management: Transform Student Anger to Personal Power - The Anger Management Program is a hands-on, practical introductory program to teach anger management skills. It is based on an 8-session model; however, it can be extended if the opportunity exists. It's based on the five-component process for conflict education defined in Free The Children: Conflict Education for Strong Peaceful Minds, by Susan Fitzell. These five components are necessary to promote long term results in any conflict, character, or anger education program.

Character Education: How Teachers, Staff & Students Can Respond to Bullying - Violence, and it's use as an answer to conflict, is a major issue in our schools. As a society, we keep trying quick fix solutions to address the problem. This Band-Aid approach does not work. Perceptions and Attitudes need to change. This change begins with education and the start of a new path. This workshop provides the foundation for this path. What is presented is not exclusive of programs in your school, rather, it enhances the effectiveness of programs in place and fills the gaps.

Media and it's impact is also addressed.

The song helps the listener identify with the realities of the way people are often mistreated. During this workshop session, we will discuss the struggles young people face when put downs, bullying, harassment and peer pressure are part of their lives. We will also discuss how we can become caring listeners and make a positive difference for our peers.
